Creative School
Reaching across campus
Launched in September 2024, the Creative School brings together disciplines including art, writing, film, music and theatre in a collaborative academic community. This new school is rooted in the liberal arts tradition combined with technological innovation, emphasizing both creative practice and theory. The Creative School project spans multiple campus buildings plus the town square. Creative School capital projects include:
- Cinema on the Square - Downtown cinema for first-run films and Creative School film and media arts engagements.
- Design Fabrication Lab - Peeler Art Center space for design studies, theatre design and more.
- Digital Creation Studio - Green Center high tech computer lab inside the Innovation Hub for high power editing of music and film.
- Moore Theatre - Extensive updates including a new fly-rail system, a new orchestra pit and new lighting.
